With over 40 years of construction-industry experience and a portfolio of claims ranging from $2,500 to more than $75 million, John C. Robison is a recognized Subject Matter Expert on the insurance appraisal process. He has presided as Neutral Umpire on over 1,000 property-loss appraisals nationwide and internationally.
When opposing appraisers cannot agree on the value of a loss, they agree on John — because his decisions are impartial, thoroughly documented, and built to withstand scrutiny.
He trained the field
John is the Founder and Head Educator of the Appraiser & Umpire Certification Programs through the Professional Loss Adjusters Network (P.L.A.N.). Since 2017, these programs have certified over 800 professionals in the insurance appraisal process — the people now working appraisals and umpire assignments across the country.
For carriers and attorneys, that is the clearest possible signal of authority: the person evaluating your loss is the one who teaches others how it is done correctly.
